Anyah is currently not taking new appointments.
A lifelong interest in movement and body mechanics through yoga, dance, sports, and the arts has led Anyah to work with individuals to heal by helping them understand a deeper sense of self. With the help of a knowledgeable and understanding massage therapist, one is able to bridge the gap between chronic pain, stress, injuries, fear of movement, etc to finding tools within oneself to let go of habitual tension, fatigue, tight muscles, injury and misalignment. Anyah is a graduate of Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and Massage Therapy, a Certified Yoga Trapeze Instructor with YogaBody Teachers College, studied at the University of Georgia in Athens, and earned her BFA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design. Anyah’s previous professional experience as a court appointed legal guardian for elders, a community art facilitator, program director for arts based non profits in both DC and the Boston area, a studio artist and mother of a teenage boy provides for a wealth of insight with regard to community building and a client centered practice. ...less
